About Me
Hi, I’m Emma a designer who enjoys the challenge of creative problem-solving.
I would describe myself as a curious, energetic, and multi-faceted person with a wide range of interests from art, anime, and fashion to outdoor activities like horse riding, hiking, and Onewheeling. I can find the fun in everything and I hope to bring that energy to every environment I encounter!

Me, but before design.
It’s hard to say before design since I have witnessed design everywhere in my life, but before I realized it could be a career, I was a bartender! I enjoyed being able to be myself, entertain people, and build real connections with a wide range of people. I genuinely cared about hearing the stories and struggles of my new friends and I enjoyed the creative freedom I experienced brainstorming cocktails and new names for them. The friendships I built with my co-workers and customers have been satisfying and long-lasting and I learned a lot about communication and teamwork. Bartending gave me an outlet to spread joy to the people around me and I thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated this career.
Why design?
Art has always been something I have been passionate about due to its limitless possibilities and almost lawlessness! Everything and anything can be art and I always found that to be exciting and utilized it as a form of expression all my life. After deciding that it was time to move on from bartending and try something new, I discovered the field of product design, UX, and UI. I was immediately excited at the prospect of being able to combine problem-solving, discovery, and design. I wanted to start right away, I felt like I found my calling. That's when I began looking into boot camps.
The Future
In the future, I’m looking forward to working with a team of creative people, working with or under more experienced designers so I can learn, ask questions, and have guidance. I want to learn as much as possible so I can create unique and fun digital experiences that inspire others.
I would love to contribute to design teams that work on high visibility projects such as popular app design and UX game design or to a company where I can learn more about game theory as I would love to leverage my passion for art and gaming.
